Christina’s piece is being picked up by Christina, An and Jonathan the photographer. They are very happy to see the bees of Don Pablo have worked and finalized the glass sculpture. The way back is quite an adventure. They get a ride from a neighbor of Don Pablo that is so kind to offer beers and mezcal for the ride to the garden. They arrive late in the evening.
Today the Endless Drawing is is taped to the wall. In the evening the first carpet, a translation of one of the 107 drawings by Diederick Dewaere, is brought by weaver Pastora.
The assembly team of the salon works until 10p.m. to get the space ready for tomorrow morning. The MGU team Patrick and Pacôme also worked until it got dark to finish the technological part of their installation that runs the irrigation system.
Conversation with a stranger is een artistiek evenement georganiseerd door Luce Goutelle en nadine op 11, 12, 13 oktober in hotel Le Berger en Plateau. Het project draait om een dertigtal interveniënten – kunstenaars en amateurs – die in dialoog treden met het publiek via performances, artistieke installaties, en lezingen. De ontmoeting staat centraal en vindt plaats in en rond het voormalig rendez-vous hotel Le Berger.
Om de financiering van het project rond te krijgen werd het project gelanceerd op de crowd funding website Kisskissbankbank. U wordt van harte uitgenodigd dit evenement mee mogelijk te maken en een donatie te doen!

Pek Van Andel is a medical research scientist at the university of Groningen. Along with Danièle Bourcier (Director of Research at CNRS in social science) he is the author of the book ‘”Of serendipity, lessons of the unexpected”. Serendipity is a curious concept where one makes an accidental discovery while searching for something different. The sense of observation along with a good dose of imagination have sprung up champagne bubles, X-rays and effects of Viagra.
