[FR] Le project Primacy of Change rassemble des artistes dont les pratiques et productions pourraient participer à un changement social.
Primacy of Change est une plate-forme de collaboration entre artistes belges et internationaux invités pour l’occasion et dont les pratiques artistique politiquement engagées constituerons le point central des rencontres et discussions.
En utilisant des outils de réflexion suggérés par les auteurs, artistes et théoriciens, des tables rondes seront organisées autour de ces sujets.
[EN] Primacy of Change project is aimed to gather artists who are dealing with an arts practice that could create a social change.
Primacy of Change creates a platform of collaboration with guest artists from abroad and Belgium, where meetings and discussions take place around the issue of an arts practice that takes a political stand.
Using tools of reflection suggested by authors, artists and theoretician we will set a round table to talk about these topics.
[NL] Het Primacy of Change project brengt kunstenaars samen die te maken hebben met een kunstpraktijk die sociale verandering teweeg brengt.
Primacy of Change vormt een samenwerkingsplatform met gast kunstenaars van uit het buitenland of België, waar ontmoetingen en discussies kunnen plaatsvinden over de problematiek van politiek getinte kunstpraktijk.
We zullen gebruik maken van verschillende reflectie methodes aangegeven door auteurs, kunstenaars en theoretici tijdens de rondetafel gesprekken over deze thema’s.
Nicky Miller
[EN] Nicky Miller is a french artist based in Brussels who is working in the fields of performing and visual arts. She studied Law in Paris and then contemporary dance in Europe and US, after having worked with choreographers.
In 2008 she started a training for performing arts in Antwerpen (a.Pass research or APT) based on self education.
[NL] Nicky Miller is een Franse artieste uit Brussel actief in performance en beeldende kunst. Ze studeerde Rechten in Parijs en vervolgens hedendaagse dans in Europa en US na te werken met verschillende choreografen.
In 2008 startte ze een performance post master opleiding bij a.Pass in Antwerpen.
[FR] Nicky Miller est une artiste française basée à Bruxelles, travaillant comme performeuse et artiste visuel. Elle a étudié le Droit à Paris, puis la danse contemporaine en Europe et aux Etats-Unis après avoir travaillé avec des chorégraphes.
En 2008, elle a commencé une formation en arts de la performance à Anvers (Recherche a.Pass, ou APT) basée sur l’auto-apprentissage.
Melika Ngombe Kolongo
[EN] Melika Ngombe Kolongo is a Photographer and is studying Multi Media Design at the Royal Academy of Fine Arts in Ghent. Primacy of Change is part of her internship at Zebrart vzw and of her research for her Thesis about Art, Politics and Social Change.
[NL] Melika Ngombe Kolongo is een fotografe en studente Multi Media Design aan de Koninklijke Kunstacademie van Gent. Primacy of Change is deel van haar stage bij ZebrArt vzw en deel van haar thesis onderzoek over Kunst, Politiek en Sociale Verandering.
[FR] Melika Ngombe Kolongo est Photographe et étudie actuellement à la Royal Academy de Gent, en section Design Multimedia. Primacy of Change fait parti de son stage à ZebrArt asbl et de sa thèse sur l’Art, la Politique et les Changements Sociaux.
