Who is My friend’s house?

My friend’s house is the collective name of artists Ella Salvador and Julie Van Kerckhoven.
Writing, photography, cooking and crafting intertwine.
Slowing down and casual ways of working are at the core of My friend’s house’s practice.
They create with curiosity and care, always working from a feminist point of view.

Onder de collectieve naam My friend’s house ontwikkelen ze een praktijk rond zorg en nieuwsgierigheid, die nauw verweven is met hun omgeving. Het boek, opgevat als een encyclopedie, bundelt onderzoek dat ze vanuit het perspectief van hun eigen lichaam voerden in verschillende landschappen in België (Anderlecht, Chaudfontaine, Bornem, Kessel-Lo, Mortsel).
