[EN] From 15 to 18 January 2026, Eleni Kamma, Emmie McLuskey and Janice Parker explored a possible new collaboration.

Emmie and Eleni had already organised the workshop “Running backwards” in June 2024, as part of Eleni’s exhibition Pink Days and Blue Nights at n0dine.
The main question was: how can we work with and around difficult topics (grief, repair, stretching) through artistic practices.

Following this conversation, Eleni came up with new ideas and questions about soft materials and body movements. This resulted in a new invitation to Emmie to come to Brussels for a WAB Lab where they further explored these themes and sought common ground for future collaboration. Emmie, in turn, invited choreographer and movement specialist Janice Parker to participate in this open workshop.

[NL] Van 15 tot 18 januari 2026 verkenden Eleni Kamma, Emmie McLuskey en Janice Parker een mogelijke nieuwe samenwerking.

Emmie en Eleni organiseerden reeds de workshop ‘Running backwards’ in juni 2024, in het kader van Eleni’s tentoonstelling Pink Days and Blue Nights in n0dine.
De belangrijkste vraag was: hoe kunnen we werken met en rond moeilijke thema’s (verdriet, herstel, rekbaarheid) via artistieke praktijken.

In navolging van dit gesprek kwam Eleni met nieuwe ideeën en vragen over zachte materialen en lichaamsbewegingen. Dit resulteerde in een nieuwe uitnodiging aan Emmie om naar Brussel te komen voor een WAB Lab waar ze deze thema’s verder gingen verkennen en een gemeenschappelijke basis zochten voor een toekomstige samenwerking. Emmie nodigde op haar beurt choreografe en bewegingsspecialiste Janice Parker uit om aan dit open atelier deel te nemen.
