[EN] Davide Tidoni will contribute two different projects to the WAB programme. ‘Attack/Decay‘ is a series of night walks in which he explores the acoustics of specific locations in Brussels by means of a custom-built impulse generator. ‘There Is No Listening Without Intervention‘ is the continuation of Davide’s research on the perception and activation of the acoustic space by means of a series of listening exercises and sound actions. The project will result in a series of textual scores and a publication.

[NL] Davide Tidoni werkt aan twee verschillende projecten binnen het WAB-programma. ‘Attack/Decay‘ is een reeks nachtwandelingen waarin hij de akoestiek van specifieke locaties in Brussel verkent door middel van een op maat gemaakte impulsgenerator. ‘There Is No Listening Without Intervention‘ is de voortzetting van Davide’s onderzoek naar de perceptie en activering van de akoestische ruimte aan de hand van een reeks luisteroefeningen en geluidsacties. Het project resulteert in een reeks tekstuele scores en een publicatie.

[FR] Davide Tidoni contribuera à deux projets différents dans le cadre du programme WAB. ‘Attack/Decay‘ est une série de balades nocturnes explorant l’acoustique de lieux spécifiques à Bruxelles par le biais d’un générateur à impulsions fait maison. ‘There Is No Listening Without Intervention‘ s’inscrit dans la continuité des recherches de Davide en matière de perception et d’activation de l’espace acoustique à travers une série d’exercices d’écoute et d’actions sonores. Le projet résultera en une série de partitions textuelles et d’une publication.
