[EN] During the cultural season of ’20-’21 Ine Claes concentrates on musical development within her transdisciplinary practice. This development focuses on theremin, field recordings and vocal work. Currently she is in residence at Cas-co/30CC where she records field recordings, among other things of the actions of the visual artists who work at Cas-co.
She is also working on voice research that focuses on loop systems and instant composition. For this voice research she invites several performers to experiment with, Adrian Sanchez Nunez and Justine Maxelon will visit her at Cas-co. Later in the year Ine will collaborate with the Brazilian composer and multi-instrumentalist Otacilio Melgaço. With this seasonal programme, Ine wants to further develop her musical language and discover new collaborations. This development period is supported by Cas-co/30CC, workspace brussels, Netwerk Aalst and Akropoditi Dance Center (GR).

[NL] Seizoen ’20-’21 concentreert Ine Claes zich op muzikale ontwikkeling binnen haar transdisciplinaire praktijk. Deze ontwikkeling richt zich op de theremin, field recordings en stemwerk. Momenteel is zij in residentie in Cas-co/30CC waar zij field recordings opneemt, onder andere van de handelingen van de beeldend kunstenaars die in Cas-co werken.
Daarnaast werkt zij aan een stemonderzoek dat zich richt op evoluerende loop-systemen en instant-compositie. Voor dit stemonderzoek nodigt zij verschillende performers uit om mee te experimenteren, op bezoek in Cas-co komen Adrian Sanchez Nunez en Justine Maxelon. Later op het jaar gaat Ine onder andere een samenwerking aan met de Braziliaanse componist en multi-instrumentalist Otacilio Melgaço. Met dit seizoenstraject wil Ine haar muzikale taal verder ontwikkelen en nieuwe samenwerkingen ontdekken. Deze ontwikkelingsperiode wordt naast nadine ondersteund door Cas-co/30CC, workspacebrussels, Netwerk Aalst en Akropoditi Dance Center (GR).

[FR] Pendant la saison culturelle 20-21, Ine Claes s’est concentrée sur le développement du côté musical de sa pratique transdisciplinaire. Elle a travaillé avec un theremin, a réalisé des enregistrements de terrains, et a exploré une pratique vocale. Actuellement en résidence à Cas-co/30CC, elle réalise, entre autres, des enregistrements de terrains d’actions réalisées par les artistes visuels présents à Cas-CO. Elle travaille aussi sur une recherche vocale focalisée sur le principe de la boucle sonore et de la composition instantanée. Á cette occasion, elle invite différents artistes à expérimenter avec elle, Adrian Sanchez Nunez et Justine Maxelon se joindront à elle à Cas-CO. Plus tard dans l’année, Ine Claes collaborera avec le compositeur multi-instrumental, Brésilien, Otacilio Melgaço. Durant cette saison culturelle Ine souhaite développer plus avant son langage musical et découvrir de nouvelles collaborations.
