[EN] Buratinas is getting ready for another season on the water.
Around this summer’s solstice Captain Amber Meulenijzer will sail out for an adventure at the Ecluse d’Ittre. This remarkable piece of Bruxelles-Charleroi canal architecture will serve as the decor for a next sonic intervention. Two pairs of cone-shaped speakers were mounted on Buratinas to make a composition for/with(in) the Ecluse d’Ittre, to play with the reflections of the architecture and the water.
She has invited the Buratinas Captains to join and testing sounds in this context. During 2 weeks Buratinas will stay over near the lock of Ittre and welcome people on board to join this experiment.

Rond de zonnewende van deze zomer zal kapitein Amber Meulenijzer uitvaren voor een avontuur nabij de sluis van Ittre. Dit opmerkelijke stukje architectuur op het kanaal Brussel-Charleroi zal dienen als decor voor een volgende sonische interventie. Twee paar kegelvormige luidsprekers zullen op Buratinas gemonteerd worden om een compositie te maken voor/met(in) de sluis van Ittre, om te spelen met de reflecties van de architectuur en het water.
Ze heeft de Buratinas Captains uitgenodigd om mee te doen en geluiden te testen in deze context. Gedurende 2 weken zal Buratinas in de buurt van de sluis van Ittre overnachten en mensen aan boord verwelkomen om deel te nemen aan dit experiment.
