[EN] On July 23, 2021, Julie Dupont, a French poet, initiated a personal email exchange with Various Artists. They responded to Julie’s emails by generating poems using a home-made algorithm (Juliette). This correspondence continued for a total of 33 exchanges, extending into the year 2022.

The exhibition Julie & Juliette showcases the evolving dialogue between Julie Dupont and the collective of Various Artists. A printed limit edition with their poetic exchange will be presented at the event.

During the vernissage, Julie Dupont will perform in collaboration with Louise Bernatowiez.

[NL] Op 23 juli 2021 initieerde Franse dichteres Julie Dupont een persoonlijke e-mailuitwisseling met Various Artists. Zij reageerden op Julie’s e-mails door gedichten te genereren met behulp van een zelfgemaakt algoritme (Juliette). Deze correspondentie duurde in totaal 33 uitwisselingen en liep door tot in het jaar 2022.

De tentoonstelling Julie & Juliette toont de dialoog tussen Julie Dupont en het collectief van Various Artists. Tijdens het evenement wordt hun poëtische uitwisseling in gelimiteerde oplage gepresenteerd.

Tijdens de vernissage is er een performance van Julie Dupont in samenwerking met Louise Bernatowiez.
