[EN] Caroline Daish and Miki Ambrózy are currently sharing some experiments with the encounter of each others practices. The ‘oracle practice’* of Caroline meets Miki’s ‘remote sensing’, a term used for the technologies of image capture from a distance, using satellites and drones.
With this encounter oracle’s specific approach to connection and ongoingness is used for remote sensing to relate processes. Filmed images, the memory of writing, and vocal work are exchanged between the two participating artists.
A first result of their experiments will be presented in n0dine on 28 March 2024.

“As we are developing seeds of degrowth, we are using a mode of working that we call experimental ecopoetics. In this mode, the creation of a film is considered to be a symbiotic act with the events around it. It’s a film that searches a symbiotic form with soil, landscape, and the microscopic.
How could a degrowth process be activated through the oracle practice’s accumulated experience? What happens to camera images when we disperse them in a constellation of events? How does the temporality of poetry, in its encounter with the vocal-spatial-durational strategies of the oracle practice affect a screen-work?”

[NL] Caroline Daish en Miki Ambrózy delen enkele experimenten rond de ontmoeting van elkaars praktijken. De ‘oracle praktijk’* van Caroline ontmoet Miki’s ‘teledetectie’, een term die wordt gebruikt voor de technologieën van beeldopname op afstand, met behulp van satellieten en drones.
Met deze ontmoeting wordt de specifieke benadering van verbinding en continuïteit van oracle gebruikt voor teledetectie om processen met elkaar in verband te brengen. Gefilmde beelden, de herinnering aan het schrijven en vocaal werk worden uitgewisseld tussen de twee deelnemende kunstenaars.
