[EN] Performing Documentation is a research project at the research unit Image of LUCA School of Arts and is closely linked to the doctoral research of Shervin Kianersi Haghighi. It proposes to re-think the notation and documentation of performances, not as a confirmation of them, but as the creation of new source material that gives the audience the opportunity to go somewhere else, to move away from the original action or performance and explore its unpredictable side effects.
The first part was a Symposium at M-Museum in September and the second part is one day performance installation at nadine vzw.

[NL] Performing Documentation is een onderzoeksproject van de afdeling Image van LUCA School of Arts en is nauw verbonden met het doctoraatsonderzoek van Shervin Kianersi Haghighi. Dit onderzoek stelt voor om de notatie en documentatie van performances te heroverwegen, niet als een bevestiging ervan, maar als de creatie van nieuw bronmateriaal dat het publiek de mogelijkheid biedt om ergens anders heen te gaan, om weg te gaan van de originele actie of uitvoering en te onderzoeken zijn onvoorspelbare bijwerkingen. De tentoonstelling presenteerde de documentatie van het symposium dat in oktober in M Museum georganiseerd werd was een samenwerking tussen Luisa Fillitz, Shervin Kianersi Haghighi, Aela Royer en Sara ten Westenend.

[FR] Performing Documentation est un projet de recherche de la section Image de l’école des arts LUCA, en lien étroit avec la thèse de doctorat de Shervin Kianersi Haghighi. Une proposition pour repenser les notes et documents au sujet de la Performance, de créer une nouvelle ressource en matériaux donnant l’opportunité au public de se déplacer par rapport à la performance originale et d’en explorer les effets imprévus. Une première partie a eu lieu lors d’un symposium au M-Museum en septembre, la deuxième partie prendra la forme d’une installation-performance pendant une journée chez nadine.
