[EN] The Wandering Arts Biennial is a research and production biennial that focuses on mobility, versatile production and presentation methods in the field of contemporary arts, and the nomadic practices of artists.
For this edition nadine invited artist Mira Sanders and curator Maud Salembier to collaborate on this year’s edition of the WAB and to share their networks. Mira Sanders set out the following framework for WAB 2018: ‘I propose to reflect upon the idea of “wandering along a limit(s)” (that can be political, historical, cultural, social, physical or geographical). The question that follows is, “how can you form (an) image(s) of a wandering along a limit(s)?”’ 

On 23 and 25 March 2018, WAB participants are presenting their wandering practices, works, ongoing research, projects, etc. We hope you can join us for this first WAB meeting with presentations and exhibitions at nadine and iMal.

[NL] De Wandering Arts Biennial is een onderzoeks- en productiebiënnale die zich richt op mobiliteit, veelzijdige productie- en presentatiemethoden binnen de hedendaagse kunst en nomadische praktijken van kunstenaars. Dit jaar nodigt nadine kunstenaar Mira Sanders en curator Maud Salembier om samen te werken aan deze editie van WAB en hun netwerken te delen. Mira Sanders formuleerde de volgende focus voor WAB 2018: ‘Ik stel voor na te denken over het idee ‘wandering along (a) limit(s)’ (dat kan politiek, historisch, cultureel, sociaal, fysiek of geografisch zijn). De vraag die hierop volgt, luidt: “hoe kun je (een) beeld(en) van ‘wandering along a limit(s)’ vormen?”

[FR] La Wandering Arts Biennial est un festival de recherche et de production qui se concentre sur le thème de la mobilité dans le champ de l’art contemporain et propose différents regards sur des pratiques artistiques nomades. Pour cette édition, nadine invite l’artiste Mira Sanders et la curatrice Maud Salembier à collaborer et à partager leurs réseaux.
