[EN] gRig (the Guild for Reality Integrators and Generators) is a collaborative project between nadine and five international cultural organisations, FoAM (Belgium), Time’s Up (Austria), Performing Pictures (Sweden), KIBLA (Slovenia) and Intermedia (Norway). All committed to the research and creation of situations in hybrid (or mixed) realities, where digital media and physical materials, objects and spaces are increasingly intertwined. 

Valuator by Jack Anderson is a study of the contemporary art market, focusing on marketing strategies for new media art sales. The most innovative and challenging of contemporary art practices are not transacted in the mainstream market for current art. To have agency within these spheres of trade, the results of new media art disciplines require a redefinition of: what is deemed collectable; how the price mechanics in fine art are circulating and the preservation instruments used to build the heritage trust necessary for the endorsement of future beneficiaries. Valuator is a qualitative-analysis safari into the wilds of economic value construction in the arts.

[NL] gRig is een samenwerkingsproject van nadine en vijf andere internationale culturele organisaties, FoAM (België), Time’s Up (Oostenrijk), Performing Pictures (Zweden), KIBLA (Slovenië) en Intermedia (Noorwegen). De organisaties spitsen zich allemaal toe op het onderzoeken en het creëren van situaties in hybride (of gemengde) realiteiten, waarin digitale media en fysieke materialen, objecten en ruimtes steeds meer en meer met elkaar verweven geraken.

Valuator van Jack Anderson is een onderzoek naar de markt voor hedendaagse kunst, met nadruk op marketingstrategieën voor de verkoop van nieuwe mediakunst. De meest innovatieve en uitdagende hedendaagse kunstpraktijken worden niet verhandeld op de reguliere markt voor actuele kunst. Om binnen deze handelsgebieden vertegenwoordigd te worden, dient voor de resultaten van nieuwe mediakunstdisciplines een herdefinitie te komen van: wat wordt beschouwd als mogelijk om te verzamelen; hoe werken de prijsmechanica binnen de beeldende kunst en de middelen nodig voor de  preservative voor toekomstig erfgoed. Valuator is een safari in kwalitatieve analyse die tot diep in de wildernis dringt van de economische waardeconstructie binnen de kunsten.
