[EN] The forest is a place where one never knows where one is and simultaneously never feels lost. This condition before the unknown allows us to write the future in ways we could not have imagined.

Entering the forest is an invitation to the practice of the ‘unknown’. A term that shifts as soon as it is named, as an exercise in resistant struggle against the capitalist system of production that dominates the entire knowledge-based world. The unknown sets up a space of encounter between participants according to relational rules in the making. The exchange of information and codes is intimate and delicate. It shifts a few millimetres from what we regard as reality and continually opens up questions about the meaning and power of things, shedding light on the habit of censorship in order to establish common guidelines on what is good and what is bad.

[NL] Het bos is een plek waar je nooit weet waar je bent en waar je je nooit verloren voelt. Deze toestand voorafgaand aan het onbekende stelt ons in staat om de toekomst te schrijven op manieren die we ons niet hadden kunnen voorstellen.

Het bos betreden is een uitnodiging voor de praktijk van het ‘onbekende’. Een begrip dat transformeert zodra het benoemd wordt, als een oefening in verzet tegen het kapitalistische productiesysteem dat de hele op kennis gebaseerde wereld domineert. Het onbekende creëert een ruimte van ontmoeting tussen deelnemers volgens relationele regels in wording. De uitwisseling van informatie en codes is intiem en delicaat. Het ligt een paar millimeter naast hetgeen we beschouwen als de werkelijkheid en roept voortdurend vragen op over de betekenis en macht van dingen. Op die manier werpt het licht op de traditie van censuur om gezamenlijke richtlijnen op te stellen over wat goed en wat slecht is.

Entrer dans la forêt est une invitation à la pratique de l'”inconnu”. Un terme qui se déplace dès qu’il est nommé, comme un exercice de lutte résistante contre le système de production capitaliste qui domine l’ensemble du monde de la connaissance. L’inconnu met en place un espace de rencontre entre les participants selon des règles relationnelles en devenir. L’échange d’informations et de codes est intime et délicat. Il se décale de quelques millimètres de ce que nous considérons comme la réalité et ouvre continuellement des questions sur le sens et le pouvoir des choses, mettant en lumière l’habitude de censurer pour établir des lignes directrices communes sur ce qui est bon et ce qui est mauvais.
