For the past two years Wænd has been a tool
for collective creation and publication of maps.
Now that we have a subsidy,
we would like to start up a more formal association.

Due to its anchor in aesthetics,
Wænd is a form of invitation
to create cartographic cultures
apart from the engineering.

Along the way, we have seen the scope of questions broadening,
the desire to include this tool in a wider framework
of reflection on the possibilities of the representation of spaces.

We have some ideas,
we would be very happy to exchange them with yours.

voortbrachten
om diverse perspectieven op de ruimte te brengen

het bevragen van de autoriteit van de kaart
zijn dominantie
zijn voorouders
om te bekijken hoe we ontmoetingen en onderzoek
gewijd aan cartografie,
over de ruimte en zijn representatiemogelijkheden,
met oog op de dekolonisatie van het imaginaire
kunnen faciliteren

De afgelopen twee jaar is Wænd een tool geweest
voor de collectieve creatie en de publicatie van kaarten.
Nu we een subsidie gekregen hebben,
zouden we graag een formele vereniging starten.

Verankerd in esthetiek,
is Wænd een uitnodiging
om culturen van cartografie te creëren
los van het technische aspect.

Op onze weg hebben we de waaier van vragen zien uitbreiden,
alsook het verlangen om voor deze tool een ruimer kader te creëren
voor de gedeelde reflectie over de mogelijkheden van de representatie van ruimte.

Wij hebben alvast een aantal ideeën,
die we heel graag met die van jullie willen uitwisselen.

Depuis deux ans, Wænd existe comme outil

Nous bénéficions maintenant d’un subside,
et voudrions nous poser en association plus formelle.

Par son ancrage dans l’esthétique,
Wænd est une forme d’invitation
à faire naître des cultures cartographiques
hors de l’ingénierie.

En chemin, nous avons vu s’élargir le champ des questions,
le désir d’inscrire cet outil dans un cadre plus large
de réflexion sur les possibles de la représentation des espaces.

Nous avons quelques pistes,
nous serions très heureux de les croiser avec les vôtres.
