[EN] slightly moving things / almost anything most of the time is a solo exhibition by Lotte Van den Audenaeren in n0dine where she experiments with the presentation of a selection of recent works.

The exhibition can be seen as a scenography that allows to discover new connections between material, text and recurring themes. The moment of the opening marks the beginning of a series of set-ups that changes throughout the exhibition period when the artist is present.

As a continuous movement, nothing is fixed; each presentation is temporary and may lead to new work. In this way, the exhibition provides an insight into how new work is created – albeit not in the public space or the private studio – but in the public projectroom n0dine.

 

[NL] slightly moving things / almost anything most of the time is een solotentoonstelling van Lotte Van den Audenaeren in n0dine waar ze experimenteert met de presentatie van een selectie van recente werken. 

De tentoonstelling kan gezien worden als een scenografie die toelaat om nieuwe verbanden tussen materiaal, tekst, en wederkerende thema’s te ontdekken. De opening markeert het begin van reeks opstellingen die doorheen de tentoonstellingsperiode veranderen wanneer de kunstenaar zelf aanwezig is.  

Als een continue beweging ligt niets vast, elke presentatie is tijdelijk en leidt mogelijk tot nieuw werk. Op deze manier geeft de tentoonstelling inzicht in hoe nieuw werk ontstaat – zij het niet in de publieke ruimte of de private studio – maar in de publieke projectruimte n0dine.

L’exposition peut être vue comme une scénographie permettant de découvrir de nouveaux liens entre la matière, le texte et des thèmes récurrents dans son travail. Le vernissage marquera le début d’une série d’installations qui changera pendant toute la durée de l’exposition.

Comme dans un mouvement continu, rien n’est figé ; chaque installation est éphémère et conduit à la suivante. De cette manière l’exposition propose un aperçu sur la façon dont une nouvelle œuvre est créée, pas dans l’espace public, ni dans l’atelier, mais dans l’espace de n0dine.
