[EN] The NGHE Mediathèque is once again going on a journey with the little boat ‘Buratinas’. This time, they propose a listening walk that will follow the Buratinas along the docks. Each day they will broadcast sounds that interact with the spaces along the Brussels-Charleroi canal, from Comte de Flandre to Oisequerq (Tubize), where the small floating village of Boot Tenace is located. The succession of industrial areas, residential areas, highway bridges, bicycle paths and other bucolic forests will be the score that will structure the content of their radio program.
The daily walks will quietly fade away in the late afternoon to make room, every evening from 6 pm, for concerts on the boat and the banks. The public is invited to camp overnight near the canal in places proposed by NGHE. (Please bring your tents and picnics.)
During the walk, they will broadcast via an FM transmitter located on the boat. As such the boat becomes a walking music player interacting with the environment. On the banks, radios and ghetto blasters will broadcast the stream for the walkers. If you bring your own stand-alone radio, you can be part of the sound system.
[NL] De NGHE Mediathèque gaat opnieuw op reis met de boot Buratinas. Deze keer stellen ze een luisterwandeling voor die Buratinas volgt langs de oevers van het kanaal. Elke dag wordt er geluid uitgezonden vanop de boot in interactie met de ruimtes langs het kanaal Brussel-Charleroi, van Comte de Flandre tot Oisequerq (Tubize), waar het kleine drijvende dorp Boot Tenace zich bevindt. De opeenvolging van industrieterreinen, woonwijken, snelwegbruggen, fietspaden en andere bucolische bossen vormt de partituur die de inhoud van het radioprogramma stuurt.
De dagelijkse wandelingen maken in de late namiddag plaats, elke avond vanaf 18 uur, voor concerten op de boot en langs de oevers. Het publiek wordt uitgenodigd om ‘s nachts in de buurt van het kanaal te kamperen op door het NGHE voorgestelde plaatsen. (Breng uw tenten en picknicks mee).
Tijdens de wandeling wordt er uitgezonden via een FM-zender die op de boot staat. Zo wordt de boot een wandelende muziekspeler die in interactie treedt met de omgeving. Op de oevers zullen radio’s en ghetto blasters de stream uitzenden voor de wandelaars. Wie zijn eigen stand-alone radio meeneemt, kan deel uitmaken van het geluidssysteem.
[FR] du 3 au 5 juin le Buratinas accueille FLOATING RADIO WALK SHOW (https://index.nadine.be/floating-radio-walk-show/), un projet de la médiathèque NGHE, qui transformera temporairement le bateau en lecteur de musique à voile interagissant avec l’espace le long du canal Bruxelles-Charleroi, de comte de Flandre à Oisequerq (Tubize). Á Tubize le Buratinas prendra part au projet Ceci n’est pas la croisette (http://boottenace.be/agenda/ceci-nest-pas-la- croisette/) de Boot Tenace. Le Château (Léa Mayer & Maëlle Maisonneuve) y présentera l’exposition Superficie d’un fort longtemps. Du 7 au 10 juin Latin Flowers (Clément Thiry et Francesca Chiacchio) utilisera le Buratinas comme lieu de répétition pour leurs chansons-mantras pop qu’ils présenteront le 10 juin.
