In spring 2022, Gustave Demoen was curator in residence at White Garage in Catania, on the island of Sicily. He invited artists from his Brussels network, and some beyond, to collaborate during four residencies. From various disciplines, they set to work on the environment: Sicily, Catania and especially Etna.

In June 2023, n0dine will be the venue for ‘Dancing on the Edge of the Etna’, the first event organised by EARC in Brussels.* Artists and collectives involved with the residencies in Catania will bring their research together during a group show and performance programme.

In 2022 bracht Gustave Demoen de lente door in White Garage in Catania, op het eiland Sicilië. Als curator in residence nodigde hij kunstenaars uit zijn Brussels netwerk, en enkele daarbuiten, uit voor een samenwerking tijdens vier residenties. Au printemps 2022, Gustave Demoen était curateur en résidence au White Garage de Catania en Sicile. Il y invitait plusieurs artistes de son réseau bruxellois, ainsi que d’autres, venant d’ailleurs, à collaborer pour un cycle de quatre résidences. Issus de disciplines variées, ils s’installaient pour travailler sur l’environnement : la Sicile, Catania, l’Etna en particulier.

En juin 2023, n0dine présente ‘Dancing on the Edge of the Etna’, le premier événement organisé par EARC à Bruxelles.* Les artistes et collectifs ayant participé aux résidences à Catania rassembleront leurs recherches en une exposition collective, ainsi qu’un programme de performances.
